ORDER TO CHAOS

Each piece of wood is cut individually, and then painted, with gold flowing in between.

The structure is based on the Kalachakra Mandala, a buddhist image of the universe. It resembles a ziggarat from the side. On this ordered pattern, life, in the form of an apple tree, cannot be contained or controlled.
